Have you thought about going back to school for a PhD? The National Science Foundation (NSF) has a program to give you the mentoring and funding you need to do it.
The NSF CISE Graduate Fellowship Program (CSGrad4US) provides mentorship and funding to help bachelor’s and master’s degree holders like you go back to school to pursue innovative projects en route to a PhD in computing.
Accepted applicants participate in a year-long preparation program, during which mentors and coaches help them identify a graduate program, find a research mentor, and apply to graduate programs. Once enrolled in a qualifying graduate program, fellows receive funding for 3 years of their selected graduate program.
Applications are now open! The deadline to apply is May 31, 2024.
Check out the NSF CSGrad4US website, where you can review the eligibility requirements, learn more about the mentoring program, read the profiles of current Fellows, and more.
